  • Make a Pair of Cufflinks with Buttons!

May 20, 2010 by Britex Fabrics

  • Four shank backed buttons
  • Two 10” lengths of metal wire
  • Directions:

  • Thread the wire through the shanks in pairs.
  • Space them ½” apart at the wire center, and torque the wire between the two buttons into a figure eight.
  • Wrap one end of the wire 3 – 5 times around the center of the figure-8, between the two buttons, toward one button shank, and pulling the wire through the shank. Trim the sharp end.
  • Repeat with the other wire end, wrapping it towards the remaining button shank.
  • Repeat steps 1 – 5 with your other two buttons.
  • Voila! You now have a set of suave double-button cufflinks.
