The talented folks at knit-one-one, a Berkeley studio that teaches knitting, felting, weaving and other textile arts for crafters of all skill levels, is sponsoring a free craft show Saturday, October 2nd! Be sure and stop by knit-one-one for inspiration and luscious local hand-crafted items.

Craft Bar with Etsy Labs at MOCFA continues! Join crafter extraordinaire Katy Kristin as she teaches you how to take old sweaters and turn them into cute and cuddly plushies or upcycled cup cozies with sweaters donated by Crossroads Trading Co.! April’s CRAFT BAR is free for students, and will feature live music from local favorite Allie Simpson. Not feeling the plushitude? Join Amelia Strader and Marita Klements in the stitch-n-bitch area for free-form knitting or crocheting with yarn donated by Simplicity. Take inspiration from the gallery and the store while you explore the creative process, socialize, and enjoy refreshments from Trumer Pils. Fee is $5 (for non-students) which includes one free beer, admission to the gallery, and all materials.
