Have you ever worn a boutonnière? Britex Fabrics has every component you need to make your own!
Despite sea changes in culture and trend, the boutonnière remains a relevant fashion fillip--recommended for special occasions such as weddings, proms, homecomings, and society gatherings. Traditionally, boutonnières are flowers--either fresh or silk--worn with the stem pushed through a lapel buttonhole on the left side (the same side as a pocket handkerchief). At our Britex Fabrics brick-and-mortar store, we carry beautiful silk flowers and leaves on our embellishments floor, including traditional favorites like carnations, orchids, and roses; along with many more fashion-forward choices like camellias, sweet peas, and apple blossoms.

August 27, 2010 by Britex Fabrics

We deeply desire this grey and cherry red felted boutonnière made by Moxie, President and Director of Vendor Relations of Urban Craft Uprising, Seattle's largest indie craft show. Wouldn’t it look smashingly swell on the lapel of a black velveteen three-piece suit? It makes me yearn for a toaster to plug into.
