Sewing Patterns

We are completely enamored with sewing patterns from small independent companies!

Decades of Style patterns are made in nearby Oakland, California. They provide vintage patterns reproductions from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s in the form of easy-to-use working patterns. They edit and add information and illustrations to clarify instructions for the specific pattern as needed. To further improve usability, where necessary, they explain vintage sewing terms and techniques used in the pattern construction. Patterns include sizes A/B/C.

Colette Patterns are made with love in Portland, Oregon. Each Colette pattern comes packaged with a beautifully printed booklet with fine linen-textured cover and a stitched binding. Instructions are clearly illustrated, and each booklet includes a glossary of sewing terms and a special area for the sewist’s own notes. Patterns include sizes 0-18.

Truly Victorian Patterns are full scale and hand drafted to fit the modern body, using historical principles and techniques. They're not redrawn copies of original patterns, nor are they modern reinterpretations of what a historical garment looked like. They are fabulously perfect for historical clothing rather than costumes and are great for reenactments and special events.
