Lace is an intricate and delicate handicraft that dates from the late 15th and early 16th centuries. We sell a distinctive selection of French point d'Alençon lace, shimmering beaded lace, romantic Chantilly lace, bobbin-woven heirloom lace, and stunning Italian-born Point de Venise. Any of these laces would make marvelous accents to your wedding gown, veil, or bridal accessories. We even have some galloon laces (double-bordered) that may be carefully trimmed along the center to make beauteous veil and gown borders.
This is an exquisitely delicate and unusual 12" wide vintage silk ivory Chantilly lace. Simple flowers and leaves are strewn gracefully across a loose netting background, with one gently scalloped edge. Both edges are adorned with wispy eyelash trim. Once hand-washed in cold water, this lace softens up delectably. This lace is 100% silk and imported from France.
9" wide ivory Alençon lace; this is galloon lace with a graceful floral and teardrop pattern, eyelash edges, and scalloped borders. This beautiful lace may be cut along the center to make borders or trim for bridal attire and veils.
