Mashia made this stunning fitted dress from an Italian wool and polyamide from Britex Fabric’s first floor. The dress is lined in red, picking up the tiny bright specks in the evergreen wool fabric. She self-drafted it from a dress that fit her particularly well (but usually works from Burda or Vogue patterns.) We love this sheath dresses ¾ length sleeves, glamorous fit, and the insolent way Mashia has accessorized it with a violet braided belt and rayon scarf.

Ty, a student at FIDM, made this soft ‘n scrumptious green velour shirt in a few hours. The pattern was self-drafted from an old bowling shirt. We particularly dig the groovy retro feel!

Mia designed this short black jacket with its gigantic collar, elbow-length sleeves, and vibrant red contrasting lining for a class. The jacket is made of wool from Britex’s 1st floor, and the oversized white buttons with metal holes are from our 3rd floor. The jacket is beautifully designed and constructed. (She has been sewing for just one year. And of course she got an “A”!)
