Wee gnomes are a perfect family and friends craft – make a little family or make a dancing pack of squishy gnomes! Made of wool roving, these bearded fellows are ready to perch on a wreath, decorate gifts, sew onto stockings, or even swing on a tree branch! Laura from Laleebu Toys is responsible for the gnome madness tutorial! All supplies are available on Britex Fabrics available on Britex Fabrics’ 3rd and 4th floors, via email at email@example.com, or by phone at 415-392-2910.
Kalleen from the crafting blog, At Second Street made a tutorial for a leafy table runner! Reuse it year after year, bringing the beautiful colors and shapes of autumn leaves into your home! We love the vein and stem delineation that she made of ocher thread, and since she used faux leather you don’t even need to finish the edges. These leaves would also be delightful made of organically textured wool felt. Britex Fabrics sells wool felt both online and in our San Francisco store. We sell a variety of faux leather on the 4th floor of our San Francisco store.
Oooh! Another super cute project by Hillary Lang of Wee Wonderfuls. Here are two charmingly sweet 7” elves to embroider using a simple backstitch (or chainstitch). She shows them on rustic looking muslin stockings, but they could also be embroidered on a smock or holiday tea towel.
