We’re always pleased to hear back from customers with the results of their sewing projects made from Britex Fabrics’ goods! It is amazing to watch the transformation of flat folded fabric to garments and home decorating projects. Nancy from the sewing blog, The Dressmaker’s Muse spent the better part of May, June, and July making clothing for a Renaissance themed wedding. She made a daunting 75 garments to clothe 20 of the 24 participants, including the bride, groom, men and ladies in waiting, children, and parents. When she bought 10 yards of georgette from Britex Fabrics’ online store, I asked her to send me photos once she was done – the georgette was used in the sleeves of the bride and bridesmaids and the full length hooded cape worn by the bride. She said, “Your georgette was lovely to work with, and draped as beautifully and dramatically I had hoped.”
