David Reposar, local fashion icon, hair stylist to the stars, artist, and faithful Britex Fabrics’ customer was recently featured in all his glory in the rag, SF Style wearing a tunic made of super Britex textiles! Shades of Hedwig, David says, “I tend to break the barriers across the gender divide and wear what I feel best suits my taste as an artist and as the Global Glam Gypsy.” Remember, if you cannot make it into the store, just use our Customized Swatch Service and we’ll mail you swatches for your new project!

Britex Fabrics is pleased as punch to assist folks from the Make it With Wool Contest find fabrics to make their creative vision come true, and our Customized Swatch Service is a dandy way to find fine fabrics if you don’t live in San Francisco. Hannah took top honors in the Utah junior category with her skirt and jacket entry, which qualifies her to go on to the national finals in January 2014. She used Britex Fabrics’ bright blue Italian wool and corozo nut pea coat buttons for her jacket, along with Butterick 5927 for the jacket pattern.
Britex Fabrics was pleased as punch to have a mitt in clothing the fabulously witty and athletic Mrs. Emma Peel for the recent Comic-Con in San Diego. As Mrs. Peel can attest, catsuits are both comfortable and fashion forward; she ended up using cotton/lycra and rayon/lycra fabric from Britex Fabrics’ 2nd floor for her dashing ensemble.
